Dinorwic Quarry - North wales

 Dinorwic Quarry

Date:   June 2015

Location: North Wales

Public or Abandoned: Public

Demolished:  No

Wales is a beautiful place to visit and explore. The Dinorwic Quarry is located in the National Slate Museum area. This old slate quarry is open to the public for exploration. There are several walks available, but the blue walk is the best choice as it allows you to see most of the preserved remnants on the trail.

The blue trail alone has a lot of history, with slate mines and remnants of life from the past. There is so much history around here.
