Stacklands Retreat House - west kingsdown

After a long day of work, I received an invitation to go exploring, which I eagerly accepted. I quickly gathered my things, excited about the adventure ahead, and was soon picked up by my friends. We made our way to West Kingsdown, near Sevenoaks, and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the site—it was much larger than I had anticipated, with an abundance of things to see and explore. As we arrived, we realized we were racing against the setting sun. Time seemed to fly as we wandered through the area, but we made sure to cover every inch of the site before darkness fell. The history of the location was particularly fascinating; it had been inhabited by priests back in the 1940s, which added a mysterious charm to our exploration. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find much additional information about the site, which left me curious. It's also rumored to be quite haunted, which only piqued my interest further. I couldn’t shake the feeling that there were stories waiting to be uncovered within those old walls. Overall, it was an unforgettable evening filled with exploration and a touch of history.
