We took a short drive near Puckley, and on our way, we discovered some charming church ruins. The ruins are said to have been built around the year 1500, but sadly, they were damaged during World War II by a V-1 flying bomb, commonly known as a "doodlebug." Unfortunately, not much more information can be found about the ruins.
The footpath is a fascinating route to explore, although it can be quite long. Construction of the tunnel began in 1899, and it finally opened to the public in 1902.
