i took a visit here back in but since they have redone I thought ill go and have a look, but I was a little bit disappointed as it seems like they have ruined the mills a bit with the pavement they have put through, but as we were there for about 10 mins taking photos, the site is now pram and wheelchair friendly though.

so it said that the mills was used back in 1912 to 1920 to grind chalk, which was then pumped to the British standard cement plant at Montney hill, it
said that the mills was abandoned after WW1sh .

Location : Dover
Abandoned or public-abandoned
Delmoished No

Our last exploration of the night before heading home led us up the steps to a surprise - the site was still open. Once inside, we started to look around. It was a small and simple site, but still quite fun, although it was a bit damp outside due to the rain. The information at the site explained that it was built as part of Henry VII's plans to defend the harbor. It also mentioned that the large semi-battery was added in the 1740s, and larger guns were added around 1853. In 2014, a spiral case was cut to connect to the castle. The site was used in both World Wars, but it now sits rotting away.

There wasn't much to see, as it was pretty burned out, but it was still cool to explore. The hall was reportedly built in the 1880s and closed in 1999. It was originally used as a place for the prison guards from the nearby facility to socialize. Unfortunately, in 2003, a fire broke out due to an arson attack.

St Albans Cathedral - Hertfordshire.

I stopped off at the St Albans Cathedral during my visit, and wow, it reminded me of something out of Harry Potter. The interior was stunn...
