Hills garden centre - Brighton

Hills Garden Centre

We were out exploring for the day, and this little garden center was the last stop. The visit was quite simple and relaxed, as there wasn't much inside the garden center. Finding information about the history of this place has proven difficult, but it is believed to have closed down in 2017. The reason for its closure remains unknown.

I had a wonderful day as a tourist and decided to take some photos of the pier. According to the information board, the pier was established in 1866 but unfortunately closed down in 1975. Despite being designated as a Grade I structure, it appeared abandoned due to years of neglect. In 2003, an arson attack resulted in a fire on the pier, and over time, parts of it were dismantled, with further damage caused by the weather.
