This was our first exploration of the day, when we arrived in Porchester the rain had started to die off and we thought it might hold out the whole time we were at the castle, but we were wrong .. it rain on and off the whole time, we were there . inside the castle was a lovely very simple layout too - just did not like the stairs
it's said Porchester castle is a medieval castle, at one time it held up to 8000
prisoners the castle.
