St Margaret's Church - Lower Halstow

St Margrate Church

As part of the Heritage Open Days, I decided to explore some local churches that I hadn't visited before. I headed over to Lower Halstow to check out a small church there. The church was charming, and we had a pleasant chat with the volunteers. However, we didn't stay long, as there were other places I wanted to explore.

This church dates back to the 11th century and has been in use for around 800 years.

I kept seeing this boat every time I was at the brickworks, so I took the opportunity while my daughter was at school to go and have a look at it. I'm unsure what type of boat it is, but it was cool to see. The River Medway is full of abandoned boats like

this one.
