the tower was built around 1418 and was used to defend the entrance to Portsmouth harbor the tower was apparently used until the 1960s, the site is grade 1 listed.

the upper floors are always open to the public but the lower levels are used as spaces  

are Sunday here was fun but same time a cold one as it kept raining on and of thought the day

This bunker is one of only eight constructed between 1951 and 1956. When I first discovered it, I didn’t know what it was and couldn't gain entry. As a result, I could only take exterior shots of it.
