fort Luton - Chatham

 Fort Luton

Date: May 2022
Location: Chatham
pubic or abandoned: Public
Demolished: No

We were at Luton for a private event,  and they opened up all the tunnels so the guest can have a look around the fort -  iv been to the fort before on their open day and it's a very interesting fort to even look at around tbh - so worth the visit.

its said that fort Luton was built in 1976 & 1892 in chatham Medway, it also said it was one of five late victoria land forts in Medway, but it was one of the smallest forts that were built.

Fort Luton - Medway

Fort Luton

Date: 16-03-2019
Location: Luton - Medway
Access: Yes £3 admission  on open days

I had never been to Fort Luton before, but when I saw that it was holding an open day, I marked it on my calendar and made sure to attend. The fort was really interesting to visit since I had never been there before, and there was a fee of £3 to get in. The fort was built between 1876 and 1892, and it is one of five Victorian land forts constructed to defend Chatham. It is also the smallest of the forts built.
