My best friend randomly texted me saying she was coming down to Kent for the day. I jumped on the chance to meet up with her as I haven't seen her in such a long time. Dungeness was our second stop on the list, and we spent a good few hours here looking around and exploring the area. It was nice to see some bits I haven't seen before too.
I found out that Dungeness is known as Britain's only desert, even though it's a shingle beach. It was sold to EDF Energy for around £1.5m, and it expands over 468 acres..
