The foundations of this small medieval chapel stand on the Western Heights above the town of Dover. It has been linked to the Knights Templar – a military and religious order founded in the 12th century to protect pilgrims travelling to the Holy Land. The chapel had a circular nave, which mirrors other churches built by the Templars.
