There are public gun placements from World War II located behind Mid Kent College in Gillingham. You can visit these historical sites by taking a walk along Lower Lines.
These gun placements were excavated after the college was built and provide an intriguing glimpse into the history of the Medway towns. Although they are not well-maintained, they are still worth a visit.
