Apsley House
Date July | Location London | demolished No
During our day in London, we decided to explore some English Heritage sites that we hadn’t yet visited after checking out HMS Belfast. Apsley House was charming, but it wasn’t really my taste. My daughter, on the other hand, wasn't too interested in the house; she was more focused on collecting stamps from a specific number of sites to earn her badge. Apsley House was the first home of the Duke of Wellington and was remodeled between 1819 and 1829. It houses over 1,000 paintings, sculptures, and other artworks, and it is also a Grade I listed building.
