Chartham Asylum Hospital was mostly closed down in 1993, and much of the land was repurposed for housing development. To kick off our exploration, we decided to check out one of the remaining buildings. With the few structures left on the site, we were surprised by how large the area was. Getting onto the premises was relatively easy; we simply walked over the fence. Once inside, we found ourselves strolling through the eerie corridors. Most of the site has been demolished for housing, leaving very few buildings standing.
