russian convoy memorial loch ewe - Scotland

Date  : october 2017
Location - Cove - Scotland
Acess : Yes

On our way to the next location in Scotland, we stopped at a site where a Russian convoy once passed along the NC500 route. It was a very wet and windy day. Although the site was once a military base, it now lies in ruins. Despite the decay, exploring the area was quite interesting, and we even met other individuals who were also visiting the site. I tried to look up more information about the ruins, but I couldn't find much.

Edinburgh castle - Scotland

Edinburgh Castle

Date: June 2016

Location: Scotland

Demolished:  No

During our trip to Scotland, we decided to visit Edinburgh Castle. Although it rained that day, it did not dampen our spirits as we enjoyed exploring the castle and taking in the sights. We would love to return someday.

We learned that the castle served as a royal residence until 1633. In the 15th century, there was an attempt to establish it as a residential location, but that proposal was unfortunately declined. Later, in the 17th century, it was used as military barracks housing a large garrison..
