While traveling through East Sussex, I received a tip about this abandoned church. Since I enjoy exploring churches, I thought I would check it out. Getting inside was easy, and once I was inside, I found it to be quite intriguing.
The church was built in the 1950s and continued to host services until shortly after the Christmas Day Mass in 2009. Despite having a congregation of between 50 to 90 people, it closed due to a shortage of priests.
