Abbot’s Cliff sound mirror

We spent the day walking from Dover to Folkestone. It was a cold day, but enjoyable. As we walked, we stumbled upon a sound mirror that was just sitting there for anyone to see.
The sound mirror was designed to detect enemy aircraft, providing a warning before they could be visually identified.
