Type FW3/22 pillbox - Hythe ( Pillbox 2)

                                                            Type FW3/22 Pillbox

Date: August 2024
Location:  Kent
public/abandoned - abandoned

It was a really hot day, and I thought I'd go on a little road trip down to Hythe to check out these pillboxes I had marked on a map. Getting to this one was quite easy as you could walk right into it. The fact that it was wide open and anyone could walk into it amazed me because of how clean it was inside.

Like most FW3/22 pillboxes, they were built in 1940-1941 and were used in WW2
