Several public gun placements from World War II can be found behind Mid Kent College in Gillingham. There is a walking path called Lower Lines that guides visitors around these historical sites, which were excavated after the college was built.
While they are not well-maintained, these historical artifacts provide a fascinating glimpse into the history of the Medway towns and are open for public visits..
