I have only explored outside of the UK once, and that was when we accidentally stumbled upon Fort Risban during a day trip to France. At the time, we didn't know what it was, but it looked cool so we took some photos. Later, we found out that Fort Risban is actually a fort that was used to protect France.
It dates back to 1346 and was utilized in both World War I and World War II. Today, it is a historical landmark in France that you can visit..
