There are public gun placements from WW2 located behind Mid Kent College in Gillingham. You can visit them by taking a walk along Lower Lines. These gun placements were dug out after the college was built and serve as an interesting piece of history in the Medway towns. Despite not being well-maintained, they are still worth seeing.
