Chislehurst Caves - chislehurst

Chislehurst Caves

Date:   May

Location:  Chislehurst

Demolished:  No

The Chislehurst Caves provide guided tours of a small section of an extensive underground cave system that stretches for approximately 22 miles. These caves were hand-dug by humans and served as air-raid shelters during the war.

Although the tours are engaging, visitors are not allowed to explore the caves independently or take their time during the visit.
