I have vivid memories of the naval memorial as I grew up in the Medway towns. It is open to the public, providing an opportunity to pay respect to those who lost their lives. The site is located at the top of the grate lines in Chatham, with a view overlooking the town. Unfortunately, I could not find much information about the history of this place..
