Lydden spout battery Plotting room

Right next to the mess rooms was the entrance to the battery plotting room, which had no lid. Looking down the ladder into the hole felt both spooky and scary. It was cold, and the surface was also slippery. Once we climbed down inside, we took a look around; there wasn't much to see other than an empty shell and lots of graffiti.
The plotting room was part of the battery located in the Lydden area. This also included a deep shelter, the plotting room, and several other buildings, all of which were used during the war.
