We decided to spend the weekend in Sheerness just for the sake of it and thought of heading down to Warden Point to see the Battery and Chain House. However, it is important to check the tide points beforehand, otherwise, you won't be able to get up close to them. 

Over the years, the site has eroded and crashed into the sea. It is said that the Warden Point Battery was built around 1914 and a temporary radar station was installed in 1916. In 1942, the site became permanent. It is uncertain when the site became abandoned,
