I came across this fascinating little museum while I was in the area for something else. There is so much history in this small museum, and it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. The museum mainly features local history, but some of the artifacts on display are truly amazing.
The building that houses the museum is listed as grade 2 and dates back to the 15th century. It is said that this museum house was built around 1480. The entire building was restored in 1995 and dedicated for use as a museum. It's said to hold around 6,000 items.s.
