I had a free day so I headed up to Essex because I had a bunch of locations pinned around Bradwell-on-Sea. Sadly, most of the places I wanted to see were closed or inaccessible. However, I knew about a beautiful chapel that was open to visitors, so I decided to check it out to make the trip worthwhile. The interior of the chapel was stunning and quite spacious.

I learned that it was a Christian church dating back to 660-662, making it one of the oldest known churches in England. Additionally, it is designated as a grade 1 listed building.
