This was a quick visit to this church, when we arrived they were setting up for a concert but the church was open so we went in and had a look around, the interesting thing about this church it still has all the original drawings on the walls and that something you don't really see, we didn't stay long due to the heat.

So it said that this church is grade 1 listed, it back dates to around the Norman era, it also said back in 1963 there was fire in the tower and the tower of the church was rebuilt,  the church was taken over in 1986 but CCT who open the church up to visitors.

  1. The fire in the tower was in 1639. The church is run by volunteers who do a lot of fundraising to keep this wonderful church open. People from the parish of Capel are still buried in this lovely little churchyard which is also looked after by volunteers.
