Archcliffe Galleries - Dover
Archliffe Gallieres
Date: August 2017
Location: Dover
Delmoished - No
This exploration was particularly interesting because we had to venture into the woods to find the entrance, which was quite tight and filled with spiders. Once inside, we were surprised to find that the space opened up significantly. While we were exploring, we heard other people coming in, which caused me to freak out and turn off my light. It turned out to be another group of explorers, and we ended up talking with them. They even showed us other locations around Dover.
Regarding Archcliffe Galleries, the history of this site is a bit uncertain. It is believed to have been part of a Napoleonic fort. Unfortunately, much of it was destroyed when the new road was constructed, leaving only a few rooms behind, mainly the gun room and the cells. Other than that, I couldn't find much more information about this place.
