West Malling - AA Bofors Tower

We took the bus up to West Malling and went looking for the tower. Once we arrived, it was not that hard to find, as you can see, and there was even a plaque on it telling you what it is. We went up to the tower, noticed there was a gap under the fence, so we went under the fence and looked around the tower and explored it. It was a very quick explore.

The structure is identified as an anti-aircraft gun tower, also known as a Pickett-Hamilton fort, featuring a Type 24 pillbox. It was used during World War II as part of the WM airfield that was once located on King Hill.

Mathew Riding School - Rainham ( Medway )

I went on a local exploration and stumbled upon an interesting building. The wind was constantly whistling through it, which gave me a spooky feeling. Although I didn't particularly enjoy being there, I wanted to cross it off my list as soon as possible. I had heard many horror stories about this place, which deterred me from visiting. I learned that the riding school had been closed down in the '90s due to poor road planning. It was built in memory of the owner's son. In 2009, a fire destroyed part of the building. Recently, in 2022, it seems that new owners have taken over the property. However, it is still unclear what will happen next. This building has an intriguing history.

King Bastion - Chatham

As a local to Medway, I decided to check out these tunnels. I have known about them for a long time, and getting to them was pretty simple. There were a few other locations right next to it that I wanted to explore as well. It was a quick exploration, but I couldn't find much information on these tunnels. As soon as I find any information, I will update it.

Spent the day in London but could not explore the flats as they were inaccessible. However, I managed to take some photos before their demolition and replacement with new flats.
