This building was once part of the Chartham Asylum Hospital. Most of the facility closed down in 1993, and the majority of the land was redeveloped for housing.
Unfortunately, the house was targeted in an arson attack by a group of teenagers.
This was the first exploration of our day, as we also checked out other buildings that remain on the site. At the time, access to this building was very easy.
