This was our last exploration of the day and a very quick one, once we parked up we walked around the church and went in, it was a very small church, but it was very beautiful inside, Once inside we looked around, as we were leaving the church I we did notice that you can turn the lights on in this church ( what make it funnier is that there a sign )
It said that st clement church is a beautiful redundant church, that it is grade 1 listed, and back dates to Anglican times, It said it was originally from the 14 or 15th century, and it said that the st clement church was oringal a private chapel, it also noted that in 1855 the church was restored.
In 1991 the church was taken over by the church's conservation trust.

This was not my first visit and this most prob won't be my last visit. we were showing a friend the tunnels, and this time we had our 3-year-old with me too - who safe to say loved going inside the tunnels ( starting them young aha) , The only difference about visits this time, as I saw there was a small amount of remains of the fort above ground too which I have never notice in the past.

on our day trip out in and around Dover, we thought we would check out a few redundant and all saints church was the first one we checked out, we parked the car and headed to the church, we signed the guest book and started looking around, it such a beautiful little church,
So it said that all saint churches are redundant Anglican churches, and is also said that the church is grade 2 listed, it said that the church is said to back to the 12th century, sadly in 1980 the church was, declared redundant, but in 2006 CCT took over the church and open to public.

This was are last exploration of the day and to be there is not much to say about this one, it a very easy walk down as they opened it up as a nature reserve, once we got down to the tunnel entrance there was a bunch of rotting away car's and this always sad to see as it makes you wonder what happened to them, but then I spotted a hornet and that thing looked angry, As we approached the tunnel entrance you can hear yellow jackets buzzing around so we though it is best not to go and walk down the tunnels as did not want to be stung, so I stuck my camera though the entrance and got a photo of the tunnel.
So it said that the tunnel was part of the Midland Railway that would of connected Bedford, Hitchin and london together between 1853-and 1857
it said that the tunnel has been sitting abandoned for over 40 years.

This was our first visit in over - And once we were inside - I forgot how big the site was, This was my second visit so I didn't take many photos this time ( 2019 visit ) can be found here :) , The tunnels have not changed much and are still the same, just a bit more chalk wring on the wall compared to last time.
So it said that the Esplanade tunnels was used in ww2 as a civilian shelter, the tunnels are a big complex that connected trevannion caves, athrol terrance cave together that was once linked by guilford tunnel, It is a romoure that these tunnel could open to public one day but it all hearsay.

This second exploration of the day was in the Dover area and I have to say it was a pain to get to it as one of the One time only explore due to how awarded it is to get to the tunnels, once we were on the side, it wasn't that big still a nice little mooch.
So it said it was originally a small air raid shelter that was for a school, but after the school was demolished it said it would hold up to 180 people.
