So it said that this little redundant church is over 900 yers old, is said around about 1678 the church was abandoned for 250 years and unused for religious purposes. The beautiful church is made of two simple rooms.

Turret of a Churchill tank - Tunbridge wells

Turret of a Churchill Tank

 Date: June
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Public or Abandoned: public
Demolished: No

we went over to TW for the day as we had planned other explores in and around the area, and I saw online about this turret of a tank,  so we park the car at the RSPB carpark and walked down to the torrent with our 2-year-old, anyone can do this walk as it suitable for all ages, without google maps though you would not know it there as it is hidden off the beaten path, Once you reach the turret there is an information bored telling you what it is, it's a very quick and small explore but same time it very interesting that it has been left there.  It does look like that the turret does get covered in water in the colder months

So it said that this turret  was left in the woods back after the D landing in 1944, It also said it was left behind by Canadian troops, The turret is now located on RSPB nature reserve
