This was our first stop in Chichester for a number of different explorations. We arrived around 7 am and went straight in. I was surprised by how big this center was. We spent a good few hours exploring every part of the building. The amount of stuff that had been left behind was unreal. The center closed down around 2011. It was a residential center offering a number of different activities. After it closed, it was used for foreign language students and was then advertised as a wedding venue. There was a planning permission put through to build 30 houses on the site, but it was declined by the local council

Jackie Pallo Home - Broadstairs

I made a quick roadside stop to explore this house, but didn't know much about it beforehand. Once inside, I found it to be extremely gutted, with almost nothing inside except for a really cool patio.

I learned that a former wrestling star, Jackie, lived in the house until he sadly passed away in 2006. The house was left abandoned, and now a developer from Broadstairs has applied to have the farmhouse demolished to make way for more houses.

Being local, we decided to take a trip up to Lodge Hill, which was our first exploration of the day. We didn't spend long there.

It was noted that Lodge Hill AA battery and was one of the world's first permanent anti-aircraft defenses. Nearby was Beacon Hill, which stated that both Lodge Hill and Beacon Hill were the first sites where guns were permanently mounted.
