St Marys (Redundant) - Faversham

 St Marys ( Redundant )

Date: August 2023
Location: Faversham
Public or abandoned: Public
Delmoished: No

One Sunday afternoon, we decided to visit a stunning redundant church in Faversham. The church was situated in a very secluded area, so we parked the car and walked to the entrance. After signing the visitor book, we explored the interior. As there was no electricity, the church became quite eerie when the sun disappeared behind clouds. We spent approximately 40 minutes in the church, taking pictures and admiring its beauty.

According to the information provided, the church is an old Anglican church that is no longer in use. However, it is still considered a beautiful building and has been given a grade 1 listing. The church is currently owned by CCT, who acquired it in 2002. It was originally built in the 12th century and underwent restoration work between 1981 and 1984.,

                        LLoyds Bank

   Date: August 2023
  location : Rainham kent
   Abandoned or public: Taken over
  Delmoished :  No

I was invited to the old Lloyds Bank in Rainham by the GSA Charity to take some photos of the building, which they have now turned into a charity shop. The old bank was fascinating to explore, and it was exciting to see all the old safes.

The bank has been empty since 2019, when it closed its doors due to a decline in customers..

St Bartholomew's Church, Goodnestone

 St Bartholomews church

 Date: July
Location: Goodnestone
Public or Abandoned: public
Demolished: No

we took a little 30 min drive down to Goodnestone to check out this redundant church and got caught up in the rain the church is small yet very lovely inside - it gives you information on the outside and other churches in the area to visit didn't spend too long in the church as it was not big, it does seem to have a lot of visits by the looks of the book, so I f you ever in the area then go and have a look at the church.

It's said that this church is grade 1 listed and it is an old Anglican church,  This Building is also said to also backdate  to around 15th century, Sadly the church was restored in 1876,  in 1985 it said the church was declared redundant in 1985 ,   and was taken over by CCT in 1996
