The Meadows - Knaphill , Surrey

 The Meadows

 Date: Jan 2023
Location: Surrey
Public or Abandoned: Abandoned
Demolished: No

this was the only exploration we had planned for the day, there wasn't much that we wanted to do, so we hopped into the car and took the hr drive up to Knaphill, Funny enough we did try to explore this back in 2018 but there was a bunch of kids in there cucking rocks so we left it to come back at later date, Well safe to say we were a little bit too late to the party was a fire ripped through it last year destroying a lot of it, it was still cool to see.

So the Carehome was closed down back in 2013,  it was built in 1996, and housed 13 patients, it said that
its the former NHS psychiatric care home, there was planning permission in 2017 to convert it back into a care home but nothing ever come off it,

Another fire ripped though in 2022 at some point distorting the roof section off it and going off photos there was also a fire possibly back in 2019 in the middle sections

 Seaford GPR repeater station

 Date: Jan 2023
Location: Seaford
Public or Abandoned: Abandoned
Demolished: No

being a Sunday morning, we thought we take the 1hr 30 drive down to Seaford to go and have look at this tiny bunker, funny enough you can see it from the road, knowing the fact how open the  bunker is there is not really any graffiti in there, just some old remembrance that someone was living in there at one point, we spent about 30 mins in there taking photos and some videos of the bunker,

it said that the bunker was built in 1942, there was another one built
Dover, Southbourne, Swanage, and Dartmouth but is unknown if they have surried or not ,  The bunker had a few rooms two small rooms, and one main room.

St Columba United Reformed Church - Dover

 St Columba United reformed church

 Date: Jan 2023
Location: Dover
Public or Abandoned: Abandoned
Demolished: Yes ( Flats )

this was the last exploration of the day, and as we turned up the owner was leaving so we hop out of the car and spoke to the owner who let us in the building to have a look around, he was explaining to us by late 2023 the site will be flats, and he keeps the outside of the church, but he be rebuilding the inside of the church, the explore was pretty quick and simple as there was not much to see but the inside was interesting to see

back in 2007 the church sadly caught fire causing it to become disused, the site then was sitting disused for a long time and then had another fire, and in 2022 it was given the go-ahead to become flats.

after speaking to the owner in January 2023 the site is due to be flats in June 2023

TIKTIK

2018 report

Just out of the blue we thought we would go down to Dover,  my friend hasn't been to the Cliffe complex before so we though we show her due to fact I was told it was a lot easier way to access than last time. the exploration was pretty simple and straightforward,  and we were in there for a while just taking photos  of the place and trying out some different photography, the place hasn't changed much since 2018

so it said that the site was due to the war, and st margarate beach was seen as a possible place for invasion so they had to make sure the site was well protected due to the war, The pillbox and tunnel system is still there to this date. it was also built to help the nr by gun placement as they would have been a target.
