Not much to say about this explore - we were just in the area and stopped at the park to take some time away from the car  and a walk around the memorial park, 

it said that the main house was demolished in about the 1950s but the courtyard survive   and a glasshouse was built on the outer side 

even know you can't access the building as someone lives there it is a nice photo opportunity to photograph the building from the main park itself.

I had this on my “to do “ list for a while now, so on a late Wednesday evening we hopped in the car and dove the hour and bit down to the mill, was surprised that it was so easy to get to ( on the public footpath ) anyways once we got there the sun was setting fast and didn’t really have much time

it said that the mill was built in 1884, and closed down in 1969 

the mill went though so major changed such a fire in 1908, and water power until 1945 

there are plans to turn the old mill into flats but nothing has gone through yet. 

Rochester castle - Medway

As I live pretty close to Rochester , and seeing Rochester castle is finally back open for being closed for long time, we thought we just pop down to explore the castle in the rain ☔️ 

it said that Rochester castle is a very well preserved 12th keep that a stone tower, Rochester castle is owned and looked after by English heritage.
