We spent a few hours in Gravesend and had always wanted to visit the pier. Unfortunately, we were unable to access it. According to the sign, it opened in 1886 but was only in use for a brief period.

I first heard about this place about a year before I actually visited, thanks to a few friends on Facebook. A friend of mine also wanted to explore the tunnel, so I gave them a call, and we decided to go together. The entrance to the tunnel was the most challenging access I've ever encountered. I later learned that it had been sealed and welded shut afterward. Once we were inside, I was amazed at how large the structure was. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to explore all the tunnels during that visit, and I had planned to return, but I never did. The climb to some of the levels was the scariest experience I’ve ever had, as the wood was rotting away. I couldn’t find much information regarding the history of this place, but it is said to have three floors, including an underground hospital on the top floor.

I had come across this place several times online and was eager to explore it myself. However, upon arrival, we discovered that none of the buildings were accessible, and we couldn't even get past the gate. Despite searching the entire area, we were unable to find a way in, and we were particularly interested in seeing the pool located in one of the outer buildings. Unfortunately, there isn't much information available online about this place, including the reasons for its shutdown.
