after we finished the tunnel road's west side we headed over to the east side of the tunnel, we headed over to the east side to take a look around, this was more of a free-roam around in your own time than a tour guide, was interested to walk around, and view these side of the tunnels

it said via the  (website) 

that in WW2 some of the tunnels was reserved as the control center for ES , some of the air-raid shelters was public air-raid shelter, it also said that the east side was built as a wine sore.
