Location:  Somerset

Public or Abandoned:  Public

Nunney Castle was our last stop of the day and was a very pitiful stop too even know it was very busy it still very quiet and really nice to explore - it nice and small  - our daughter was more interested in the ducks than the castle 😆

is said that Nunney castle is a moated medieval castle , that backdates to around 1370 , it is also said that in the 16th century the castle was more modernized after being damaged. it said by the 20th century the castle was a ruin and covered in ivy, In 1926 the castle was a threat and the ownership was transferred, and restoration work began,
