R.A.F Upwood

This was an earlier day for exploring, as we spent all day at RAF Upwood. The site was quite large, with many interesting things to see. We encountered a number of other explorers and locals interested in the site as well.
Some of the buildings were fascinating to see, and the graffiti was really impressive too.
It’s noted that the site was sold 25 years after it closed. It was built in 1917 and expanded in 1936.
