Fort Gilkicker

This was another long day exploring Portsmouth, and this site turned out to be quite interesting. We were able to explore Fort Gilkicker for a few hours without encountering anyone else.
Fort Gilkicker is a historical coastal fort built between 1863 and 1871. The fort features a total of 22 casemates, along with five 12-inch guns, seven 10-inch guns, and five 9-inch guns.
