.After cycling for about three hours to Wouldham to see the remains of the cement works, we were disappointed to find that the site had been completely demolished. We spoke to a local resident who was walking their dog, and they informed us that the area had been cleared to make way for new houses to be built.

Buried Room - Brompton - Medway

While exploring Brompton for a new location, I accidentally stumbled upon a building that was buried in the mud. It appeared to be a small room that had been hidden, as it was not easy to find. The area where it is located is rich in war history, so I am uncertain about what this room might have been used for.

Pillbox / out building - Upnor Medway

Throughout Medway, there are several different pillboxes. We believe this particular structure might be a pillbox, but we are uncertain, as they come in various shapes and sizes. It's also possible that this building serves as one of the outbuildings, but we have been unable to find any information online about its original purpose. ,

Upnor - Sealed air-raid shelter

We spent the day exploring various locations and heard about a nearby air-raid shelter. We decided to check it out, but unfortunately, it was locked by the time we arrived. We're unsure why this shelter was built, but we assume it was used by locals in the area. Medway has many air-raid shelters scattered throughout the region..

Acorn shipping yard - Rochester

This was our first attempt to explore the building, but we couldn't access the other structures on the site because they were still in use. A man was shouting at anyone who approached the old, burnt-down huts, although we were able to walk by them along the riverside path.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any history about this location. Sadly, in 2017, a massive fire occurred, resulting in its permanent closure.

Moat Park Boathouse - Maidstone
