This was our second stop of the day and I have to say I was really impressed with the crypt and church more than the castle as I was not expecting it.

The site was nice and quite to the time we visited it and it is still winter and it was also raining a bit - we spent most of are time in the church/chapel because we were amazed at how it was left.

so it said  a medieval castle  , and  castle was built in two phases:the inner court was constructed between 1377 and 1383 , Underneath the chapel is a burial vault which holds the best collection of human-shaped lead coffins in Britain

St John the Baptist Church - mongewell

 This beautiful redundant church is located in a small town in mongewell and was are final stop of the day before dropping my friend back home 

As we walking to the beautiful church we walk past an old couple that just come out the church it self 

We spent a good little while looking around the church it was also crazy to see how popular this place was due to the gust book 

Its said St John the Baptist's Church is a closed, redundant Anglican church, partly in ruins,  its also a grade 2 listed church ,

This was our last exploration of the day, it was interesting to say at least as you have to walk up a hill and it was pretty muddy but we was in an area with no signal 

Once we was at the top of the barrow location there were loads of people up there checking out this free English heritage site so we had to take in turns going inside the little barrow which all the same way though

It said that the barrows are examples of Neolithic chambered tomb, it was scheduled as an ancient monument in 1882
