St Mary the Virgin's Church
Date May | Location Kent | Delmoished - No |
I was in the area checking things out when I stumbled across this pretty little church. We parked outside and headed in. At first, it looked like the door was locked, but as we got closer, we saw it was open. According to the guestbook, someone had not long been there before us. The church is laid out similarly to most others, and it has the same vibe, but it's pretty in its own way.
It’s said that the church dates back around 700 years and has been used for worship since then. The oldest part of the church is believed to date back to the Saxon period.
