Painshill country park is a country park in surrey - The park has an entry fee of Β£10 but gives you lots of access to many different things around the site.

it is Said that the site back dates to the 18th century, on our visit to pains hill country park on November weekend we explored the grotto, abbey ruins & Mill also the small ice house.

The crystal grotto is naturally made and has been around at the park since 1700, it is said in 1940 the crystal grotto roof fell. In the late 2000's pains, hill county park got funding from the national lottery to restore the crystal grotto for visitors to see. The grotto is now open to the public and is included in the entry fee and  worth the visit if you are ever in the country park

Also in pains hill country park, they have abbey ruins just off one of the heritage walks that you can go down to and explore -  It is said in the 18th century the monks would use the abbey to produce wine from it - as the vineyard is next to the abbey ruins.

The mill that also lays on the heritage route backs dates to at least the 18th century but said it was abandoned the 1950s but was brought back to life via the trust back in the  late '80s the mill was all man-made

there is so much i can keep saying about this amazing country park but its is now time for photos

Jackie Pallo Home - Broadstairs

Jackie Pallo Home  Date: 14-07-2019  Location : Broadstairs  I made a quick roadside stop to explore this house, but didn't know much about it beforehand. Once inside, I found it to be extremely gutted, with almost nothing inside except for a really cool patio. I learned that a former wrestling star, Jackie, lived in the house until he sadly passed away in 2006. The house was left abandoned, and now a developer from Broadstairs has applied to have the farmhouse demolished to make way for more houses.

St bartholomew hospital - Rochester - kent

St Bartholomew hospital  Date: Jan 2020 Location: Rochester Public or Abandoned: Abandoned Demolished:  Yes This was a quick visit and spear of the moment, it was not on my to-do list as I didn't even know the hospital was abandoned, and though it was still in use, getting in was easy  , once inside we look around the empty rooms , there was not much left in the site but the morgue  was the best part as the table slab was still there all in once piece, It said that st bartholomew hospital was built in 1078 but closed down in 2016, The site had planning permission to build 155 homes, They have since restored the building to homes. so the site is no longer  2021

Battery observation point Folkstone

Battery observation point  Date: August 2024 Location:  Kent  public/abandoned - Abandoned  "We stumbled upon this place while exploring the area, and it came up on the map. We took a short walk to the observation post, and initially, I wasn't sure if we could get in. To my surprise, it was really easy to access. There wasn't much to see inside, as the building was in a state of decay and being overrun by nature." I can't find much history on this battery observation point, but I know it would have been used in the wars like most others.
