Hoo ROC post

The Hoo ROC post was operational from 1960 to 1991. In 2014, it was reportedly sold for £18,000, but no changes have been made to the post since then.
When we arrived at the post, we initially thought it was closed because it appeared to be locked. However, upon closer inspection, we discovered that the lock was broken and only looked as if it was locked. We lifted the hatch and climbed down into the empty room of the post, which helped us imagine what it must have been like during its operational years.
