River Lavant Tunnel, Chichester

I was bored, so I went for a walk around Chichester just because I could. I stumbled across some old tunnels and, since I didn’t have much light on my torch, I decided to take a quick look.

There is very little known about the history of these tunnels, but they are prone to flooding during bad weather or high tides. I will not go back to this particular set of tunnels again, as they were extremely creepy when I explored them. All I could think about was the possibility of getting trapped or being chased down the tunnels. I believe they might just be storm drain tunnels.
