Dunkirk Chain Home Raider station Date : April | Location Kent | Delmoished No I have known about this place for around 6 or 7 years, but I never visited because I was told that an angry farmer would come after me! A few months ago, a friend informed me that this wasnβt the case and that you could walk right up to it from the footpath. Fast forward to now: my daughter, who is almost 5, asked if we could go on an adventure to find some pillbox or ruins. I remembered this particular site, so we jumped in the car, parked by the footpath, and walked down to the well-trodden route leading to the chain home. When we arrived, I noticed how graffitied and burnt out it was, and how quiet it felt (which wasn't surprising). We had a quick look around and even chatted with a local who mentioned that kids often hang out there as itβs a popular spot for them. Luckily, we must have gone on a good day, as no one was around.
Cosgrove Hall, Date - April | Location Northamptonshire | Delmoised - Fire Damnged This exploration was relatively easy Unfortunately, the hall is in pretty bad shape due to a fire and the weather, as it is very exposed to the elements. The atmosphere inside the hall felt eerie and creepy overall, but it was still an interesting place to explore. This building is an 18th-century hall and is grade II listed. It is believed to have been built by John Lummy of Northampton. In 2016, a fire destroyed the building.
